Samba Workshop Fun !!

Mr Rees loves carnivals and made sure the children were in the carnival spirit first.

As you can see we had great fun and really got into the carnival spirit. We are looking forward to Mr Rees coming back next week so we can have more fun. A great way to start our 'Happiness" topic!! Not a grumpy face in sight. Please check out our blog next week for more pictures.

Autumn Term 2015 - Year 1

Year 1 visit to our church. 

Here we are learning about the different parts of our church.

 We have been learning about our different senses. We had a tasting session to find our likes and dislikes.

 We weren't too sure about this one!

 Yummy!! This is my favourite.

Den building in Porthkerry

 Here we are collecting wood to make our dens. We are very strong!

 We had to make sure our den was well covered.

 We also found logs that we could use for a seating area.

 Each team were very proud of the dens that they made.

 The park ranger tested to see if our dens were waterproof. Some of us got a little wet!!

At last after all our den building we got to roast marshmallows. 

 We all really enjoyed them and got very sticky!!

 Yummy!!!

Here we all are at the end of our trip. We had a great day and we all very well behaved.
