A real farmer, Mrs Thomas
came to help us learn about food chains and food sources. We found out how
wheat grain is milled to become flour, and then we made our own bread! She
explained how the wheat is grown and told us lots about farm animals too.
Mrs Thomas brought us some chicken eggs and an incubator for them too. We’re going to
watch them carefully for 21 days and hopefully, they’ll hatch and we’ll have
chicks!
